Interior Design Society Announces 2018-2019
On Saturday, May 4, 2019, individuals and guests of the Interior Design Society (IDS) gathered in Palm Springs, CA, to honor the winners of the 2018-2019 Designer of the Year Awards. Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia presented the awards.
“The Designer of the Year opposition demonstrates our commitment to recognize the excellent paintings of our participants nationally,” says Jenny Cano, Executive Director of IDS. “This year, we obtained a report number of entries. Our award-winners keep in mind it is a prestigious honor.”
The award recipients have been selected by an expert panel of judges that included Deb Barrett, Julia Buckingham, Chelsie Butler, Patti Carpenter, Jane Dagmi, Diane Falvey, Melissa Galt, Sandy Hughes, Russ Jones, Bruce Knott, Anna Mavrackis, Molly Mays, Donna Moss, Jason Phillips, Katherine Snedeker, Terri Taylor, and Allison Sisko.
IDS also recognized Jan Cregier, who was revered with the IDS Fellow Award — the best award given through the corporation. Linda Baker and Bonnie Reich were both recognized with the Outstanding Leadership Award.
