Charles D. Shepard, sixty-one, of Harmonsburg, has been charged with robbery by illegal taking, receiving stolen property, and home improvement fraud.

Investigators said Shepard was employed to complete renovations on the victim’s Hayfield Township, Crawford County domestic.

The sixty four-12 months-antique woman paid Shepard coins for his labor and gave him Home Depot’s present playing cards to purchase the substances, according to State Police.

Troopers said Shepard started the paintings and could show up sporadically between June 4, 2018, and July 18, 2018.
