Gardening, domestic improvement ideas offered at Spring Home and Garden Show on March 8-9
Residents with a non-public passion for domestic construction and upkeep and local gardening lovers are gearing up for the 0.33 annual Aiken Standard Spring Home and Garden Show in Aiken.
The Spring Home and Garden Show will take place on Friday, March 8, from nine a.m. to five p.m. and Saturday, March 9, from nine a.m. to a few p.m. at H. Odell Weeks Activities Center, 1700 Whiskey Road, in health club variety two.
Admission for the display can be a voluntary $1 rate if you want to donate to a nearby nonprofit, Nature Home.
As spring quickly makes its way into Aiken County, the 2019 Spring Home and Garden Show will provide homeowners with the chance to come together for two days and get great advice and hints from neighborhood organizations located all over the area.
Diane Daniell, event coordinator for the Spring Home and Garden Show, stated that this year, the display will feature 72 booths, giving attendees plenty of options to determine who and what organizations they want to speak with and ask questions.
Vendors at the event may showcase their services and products, which include landscaping, renovations, addition building, painting, and gutter cleaning.
The spring display attendance has grown from year to 12 months because it commenced in 2017.
This year’s display’s imparting sponsor is Hixon’s Roofing, positioned at 521 Silver Bluff Road in Aiken.
David Hixon, the proprietor of Hixon’s Roofing, said he decided to come to sponsor the occasion because the Home and Garden Show brings so many people from out of the city into the region for the weekend.
“People will come from all over the state to return and take a look at the show, and I figured being a sponsor might help with name popularity for the inexperienced persons,” Hixon stated.
Hixon’s Roofing has been a circle of relatives who owned and operated the Aiken enterprise since 1984. Hixon’s father and brother work with him, making the commercial enterprise a real circle of relatives affair.
“People like hiring folks who are depended on in the community and have been for years,” Hixon stated. “Many of the roofs on houses here in Aiken have been positioned there using Hixon’s Roofing, which I’m happy with.”
Hixon will have a sales space installation for the duration of the two-day occasion, with personnel there to answer any questions attendees can have.
