Flexform promotes “proper design” with new fixtures by way of Antonio Citterio
Promotion: Milan-primarily based dressmaker Antonio Citterio has created various furnishings for the Italian brand Flexform, designed to shape everyday lifestyles’ practicalities.
This series features sofas, armchairs and eating chairs, espresso tables, beds, and numerous add-ons. Inspired by “proper layout,” the gadgets are intended to be useful and user-friendly.
“What sets every Flexform product aside is the truth. It’s far without difficulty recognizable, conceived for regular use, and always easy to use,” stated Citterio.
“Good design embodies myriad inherent characteristics like innovation, capability, and, of course, inventiveness and consumer-friendliness because it’s meant to improve daily lifestyles,” introduced Flexform.
The first item in the Flexform collection is the Campiello sectional sofa. It has a high-quality form and goose-down-filled cushions, which are supposed to “magnify the feeling of enveloping softness.”
It rests on an aluminum base available in grey, bronze, satin, chromed, burnished, or champagne finish.
Another product within the collection is the Leda armchair, a wood base with an enveloping, angular backrest and around, padded seat. It is available with a low or excessive backrest.
The Hera chair and armchair have a spherical, padded seat and a curved backrest. They are available with or without armrests and with tapered, forged aluminum legs or strong walnut or ash wood legs.
The Ascanio Occasional espresso desk has a wood structure around the floor, available in timber or marble, and improved handles that make it easy to move around a living area.
The fixture collection is the Adda mattress, an upholstered headboard, and a “smooth” metallic base that may be upholstered in fabric or leather.
“The uncluttered lines of the Adda bed make certain it looks similarly stylish in any of the fabric or leathers from the Flexform collection and are its passport to fitting seamlessly in any fashion of home,” said the brand.
Italian clothier and architect Citterio has been designing furniture for Flexform for forty years. Previous releases include the Adda sofa, launched in the final year, the ABC Lounge Chair, created in 1996, and the Groundpiece couch, launched in 2001.
The Flexform collection is in a substantial range of colors and textures.
“With its recognition of fabrics like linen, cotton, wool, and velvet, the organization continues its eco-friendly approach, but this year, it’s also introducing sensational textures and sophisticated shades of color that vary from the cooler tones of emerald green and aquamarine to warmer colorings like a rush, mauve, and eggplant,” introduced Flexform.
